We the Media
征求《We the Media》中文书名 BY OWENDan Gilmor的新书We the Media正式出版，已经可以在Amazon等网站上购买，Isaac也抢先订购了一本，借着Blogon会议的方便，我已经提早拿到了该书，大致的读到第三章。怎么说呢，写得不错，但并没有太多惊喜。
SocialBrain的下一个CoP项目就是翻译这本书，项目还是类似自由文化的翻译，工作团队从现在起就是开发式申请，如果对翻译有兴趣的朋友可以直接和zheng，Isaac，upwind或者我联系加入的相关事宜，欢迎Blogger的参与。
关于中文书名，这却是一个棘手的问题，Isaac提出的“自媒体”，zheng的“我们即媒体”作为书名好像还是有些不太贴切，在这里也希望通过Blog发起一个MEME，征求来自中文Blogger的建议和创意，希望集大家之智慧，创作一个合适的中文书名。
Free Culture不论是从字面还是含义，都比较好翻译。We the Media本身在就没有一个直接的英文含义，翻译起来可能需要脱离字面的意思去考虑呢。

翻译中最难的情况是不同文化背景下某词汇特定的所指. 对等是很艰难的
[帝国] 中 Multitude/诸众 可指代网络世界中EACH AND EVERY 个体的媒体特性: 无中心、无边界.

我翻译为[诸众媒体] . 相对于传统的公众媒体. 个人媒体这个词并没有相应的理论支持, 从字面上容易导致误解. 有空在对 Multitude/诸众 做进一步探讨.
